Albany police arrest Valentine battery suspect

Albany police say Wright was arrested just after 11 p.m. on Radium Springs Road.

Initial Story

Albany police need your help finding a man after police say he attacked a woman on Valentine's Day.

The victim told police that 46-year-old Steve Wright threw the victim to the ground after asking him to wake up. While trying to get away, he kicked the victim in the face twice. The victim was then able to get to a phone and call police.

Officers noted in the report that the victim had visible bruising, scratches and swelling on her right cheek and had a torn shirt.

Wright is 5'4", weighs about 130 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for battery (domestic violence) and criminal trespass (domestic violence).
