      Albany police on the hunt for wanted man

      The Albany Police Department's Investigations Division would like to solicit the public's assistance with locating 26-year-old Kontravious Nelson in regards to several outstanding warrants consisting of Terroristic Threats & Acts, Contempt of Court, Probation Violation, and Criminal Damage to property 2nd Degree. / Albany Police Department

      UPDATE: 8/30/14 4:09 p.m.

      On August 13th police say the victim told police Nelson attacked her after the two had been arguing.

      Afterwards, Nelson damaged her mailbox and threatened to shoot up the house.

      Police say this happened in the 600 block of Parkwood Avenue.

      The Albany Police Department's Investigations Division need the public's help with locating 26-year-old Kontravious Nelson in regards to several outstanding warrants consisting of Terroristic Threats & Acts, Contempt of Court, Probation Violation, and Criminal Damage to property 2nd Degree.

      The suspect is known as Champ and is six feet tall, weighs 155 pounds and has tattoos on his face.

      The current photograph may not depict his current hairstyle.

      This subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
