      Albany police say McWhorter came to the Law Enforcement Center at 9:00 AM. He was interviewed and subsequently charged and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.

      Albany police need your help in a financial transaction card fraud investigation.

      Police are looking for 23-year-old Martavis Deyon McWhorter as a suspect in a car break-in at the Miller Apartments on Canterbury Court in June. The victim's purse and wallet were stolen and her bank card used at multiple locations. Investigators say there were two suspects, but one is already in the Dougherty County Jail.

      Officers say McWhorter is 5'8 and weighs 173 pounds. His last known address was 1906 Keystone Avenue in Albany, Georgia.
