Albany police name most wanted gang members

Albany police say that Elijah Brown and Steve Leverette turned themselves in at the Law Enforcement Center at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tevin Scott was taken into custody in the 500 block of South Harding Street Wednesday afternoon.

The Albany Police Department's Gang Unit has identified their five most wanted gang members and need your help finding them.

All five of these men are being sought for having active and outstanding warrants from APD.

The first two members from APD's list are 19-year-old Elijah Emmanuel Brown and 21-year-old Steven Glen Leverette of the 8 Tre' CRIPS.

Brown is 5'9", weighs 140 pounds and is wanted for probation violation and aggravated assault in a pending case while Levertte is 5'5", weighs 176 pounds and is wanted for battery.

APD adds that also making the list with two wanted members is the Black Mamba Rattlers.

26-year-old Edwin "She She" Reaves is 5'7", weighs 150 pounds and is wanted for criminal trespass, simple battery, probation violation and aggravated assault in a pending case.

The other Rattler, 20-year-old Tevin Tamoski Scott, is 6'0", 158 pounds and is wanted for possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, affray, aggravated assault, battery, simple battery, and gang participation.

Finally, APD is looking for Corey Deion Wright, who they say is connected to the South Side Bloods.

Wright is 18 years old, 5'9", weighs 160 pounds and is wanted for probation violation, two counts of aggravated assault, criminal attempted to commit MVT and criminal trespass.
