Albany police make arrests in forgery scam

Detectives say that it was 21-year-old Adrionna Holmes that was with Thomas when he was purchasing the purse and that forgery warrants have been issued against her.

The Albany Police Department have made two arrests in a forgery case and need your help in finding one more suspect.

Officers say that 21-year-old Brian White and 21-year-old Dominique Thomas have been arrested and charged with forgery. Both men were arrested at their homes last week.

On November 18th around 3:30 PM, officers say that 21-year-old Adrionna Holmes and Dominique Thomas, walked into an Albany Mall department store and purchased a purse valued at $350 with counterfeit bills and that about an hour later, Brian White came back to the store, returned the purse, and received real cash for it.

Authorities are still on the lookout for Holmes and forgery warrants have been issued against her.
