      Initial Story
Albany police need your help as they continue to investigate the brawl that took place at the Phoebe Emergency Room on April 22nd.

Police are looking to identify individuals they believe to have been involved from surveillance footage taken from the scene.

The brawl occurred after 22-year-old Angel Wheeler stabbed 19-year-old Willie Lewis in the chest with a knife.

Lewis and Wheeler were transported, by relatives of Lewis, to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Lewis was diagnosed with non-life threatening injuries.

While Lewis was seeking treatment, a part-time Dougherty County Police Officer working security requested assistance as a large crowd was attempting to fight with hospital staff says Albany police officials.

During the disturbance, relatives of Lewis attempted to assault Wheeler, but was stopped by the DCP officer.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of the individuals in the photos (from Phoebe Surveillance Video) they should call Crime Stoppers or the Albany Police Department's Uniform Bureau at 229-431-2100.
