Albany police investigating early morning armed robbery

Albany police have identified two of the victims as 25-year-old Ericka Lewis and 35-year-old Tony Lewis who had a Subway sandwich meal (sandwich, drink and chips), two wallets and cigarettes taken.
Officials say that after officers made contact with the victims, officers came across 27-year-old Cornelius Javon Crawford walking in the 300 block of South Mock Road. While talking with Crawford, officers noticed that he had some of the stolen property from the robby on him.
Crawford has been charged with two counts of theft by receiving.
Albany police say that about 4:30 a.m. Monday morning, two people were robbed at gunpoint while walking with a group of four in the 2900 block of Sylvester Road.
Police say that the victims were approached by two masked men in a tan Honda.
Police add that one person is in custody and is at the Law Enforcement Center along with victims for questioning.
