Albany police investigate South Harding shooting

Albany police have released the name of the victim as 17-year-old Kemond White.

Officers say that White reported that he was walking in the alley when he was struck by a bullet in the leg.

Initial Story
The Albany Police Department is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting on South Harding Street.

Bystanders told FOX 31 that a school bus had let teenagers off the bus when an argument started between two groups. This argument then led to a fight between them. During the fight a gun was pulled and a shot hit one of those involved in the leg.

Albany police are currently on scene and this story will be updated as we get more information.
