Albany movement put into words

Sandra Webb signs her new book, "Beneath the Bars of Justice." / Matt Prichard

A local author spent her Saturday releasing a brand new book and signing copies for those that were looking for an educational read.

A great crowd showed up for Sandra Webb's newest book, "Beneath the Bars of Justice," which chronicles the civil rights movement in the Good Life City.

Webb spoke afterwards saying that history is something we should always remember. Both the good, the band, and what those moments did for the ones to come.

"It's always good to remember your history, to celebrate your history. Then you can look back and see the progress that you've made, because in this particular case I think we have a lot to celebrate," said Sandra Webb.
