Albany mom gives 'bullying the boot'
ALBANY, Ga. —
One Albany mother is giving "bullying the boot", and she wants others to do the same.
Angie Gordon created a three-week long campaign called “229 Giving Bullying the Boot” to bring awareness in Southwest Georgia.
Gordon was bullied when she was a child, and doesn’t want her kids or anyone else to go through the same thing.
She is selling t-shirts to wear on National Bullying Awareness Day, October 25.
“We’re losing our youth,” Gordon said. “We’re losing them to bullying. They won’t stand up from themselves anymore. They’d rather not be, and we’re losing our leaders of tomorrow.”
Use the #229GivingBullyingTheBoot to connect with Gordon, and visit their Bonfire page to purchase a t-shirt.
