Caylee Anna Hammack is the 2012 Albany Idol.

FOX 31 teamed up with Q102 and the Albany Mall to host Albany Idol.

Nearly 90 people showed up to compete for the title.

Along with bragging rights; Hammack receives a trip to New Orleans where she will be guaranteed an audition in front of an American Idol producers.

The contest consisted of 3 rounds of eliminations, and started off with a closed door audition. The 40 singers that survived the first round of cuts preformed for the judges and a large audience in the Albany Mall.
