The nation watched Sunday as George Zimmerman's trial came to an end, with a not-guilty verdict brought forward by the jury.

Since then demonstrators have taken to the streets, raising their issue with the verdict.

Here in Albany however, officials decided that residents should be educated about the trial, and exactly what happened between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin.

"We wanted to squash anything that might not be factual, and give people an accurate idea of what actually happened in this case," said organizer, Haryl Dabney.

Dabney had attorney's, law enforcement officers, and a judge speak to the crowd, so that everyone could leave more informed on the entire issue.
