The Albany Police Department and Fire Department are teaming up to find a suspect who broke into the fire department this weekend.

The suspect put his fist through the back door's window around 12 A.M. Sunday morning, but didn't get in until almost 3 a.m.

Once inside the building, the man went straight for the reception area's filing cabinets.

After prying the cabinet open, he removed around $60 to $80 of petty cash and took off, but not before he was caught on one of the downtown street cameras.

"We were able to give a copy of the film to the Albany Police Department that is leading up the investigation and I feel confident that an arrest will be made," said Arson Investigator, Sam Harris.

If you have any information on the suspect you're asked to call the Albany Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
