Albany drug agents bust two mid-level dealers

Agents confiscated over 40 grams of marijuana

The Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit arrests two alleged mid-level drug dealers.

Capt. Andy Exum says they found 238 grams of marijuana on Anthony Parker, Jr. who is an Albany Tech student and 195 grams on Riccardo Holton who is a loss prevention officer at an Albany Mall department store and a Criminal Justice major at Albany State University. Exum says Parker was delivering the weed to Holton. They say someone sent it to Parker in the mail.

When agents searched Holton's home on W. Broad Ave., they found stolen guns and more marijuana. They found Holton's laptop and even more drugs at the store where Holton worked. Exum is not releasing the store's name.

Both are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Holton is also charged with carrying a concealed Weapon, carrying a pistol without a license and possession of stolen property.

Investigators say the drugs are worth over $4,000.
