Albany-Dougherty EDC prepares for Georgia Quail Hunt
The Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission (EDC) discussed details Wednesday morning about the 25th annual Georgia Quail hunt which is coming to town February 6th through the 8th.
Not to be confused with "Quail Unlimited," the Georgia Quail Hunt is hosted by the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Albany-Dougherty EDC, as well as the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
It's design to showcase the state, as well as southwest Georgia, to business owners from around the world.
"So we're very excited about it, we have already 22 guest already confirmed and we expect that number to increase over the next few weeks, it's just a great opportunity," said Albany-Dougherty EDC President, Ted Clem.
This event is largely made possible by a team of volunteers who shuttle the distinguished guest around, and show them what our town has to offer.
