Alabama youth Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful
About forty volunteers are in Albany from Fairhope United Methodist Church helping clean up the Good Life City.
Monday morning, twenty memebers of the youth program went out to the Art Park to give the floor a fresh look.
Working with Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful, paint from about sixteen, five-gallon buckets was rolled onto the floor to cover the existing graffiti.
It's the first time in Albany for these volunteers and Kate Nobles says she loves it here.
Nobles adds, "It's important for me to volunteer because I feel like it makes me better person if I come and experience all sorts of different people and different things."
This group will be in Albany through Thursday giving back to the community by playing with children at the park, volunteering in other KADB projects and serving food at the Salvation Army.
