Some people may think living to be fifty is a blessing, but what about living to be 100?
On Saturday, Ms. Annie Lee Hand celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends.
Ms. Hand was born and raised in Sasser and has lived in the same house her father built the year she was born, which was 1913.
She has out-lived all of her siblings and when asked how it feels to have lived for a century she said she wouldn't know because she's never been 100 before.
Her daughter Eula Johnson says, " we just love what's happening today and this is a wonderful celebration. The best celebration I have ever witnessed so we're grateful."
Ms. Hand has three kids, sixteen grandkids, 35 great grandkids, and 24 great, great grandkids.
