After raiding a housing project apartment located at 600 Lane Street in Adel, Adel police officials have arrested 28-year-old Adam Jamar Robinson who was out on parole at the time of his arrest.
Authorities say that an investigation was launched on Robinson after receiving a citizen's complaint. The investigation led to search warrants being issued. Officers entered Robinson's apartment Thursday morning around 7:30 AM.
Authorities found firearms, crack cocaine valued at $2,000, marijuana valued at $3,000, stolen electronics, $800 in cash and a three-year-old child. Officials say the child has been released to a relative of Robinson's.
Investigators say that Robinson will not receive bail due violating his parole. He was convicted in November 2010 to serve 15 years in prison and released in May 2012 after serving a year and a half behind bars.
Robinson was charged with possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of narcotics within 1000 of a housing project, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and theft by receiving stolen property
Lula Ruffin, 25, was also arrested at the scene for disorderly conduct.
