Thanks to the Dougherty County Rotary Club and SOWEGA Council on Aging, senior citizens around Southwest Georgia will have an even merrier Christmas this year.
For four years the club along with the Council on Aging have teamed up for a project called Christmas for Seniors.
The executive director, Kay Hind, told FOX 31 that 77 seniors will be given one present of their choice. Hind says, we actually go to the individual, ask them if they would like to have a present, they tell us something they want and what size they wear.
Hind says volunteers are set to deliver the presents next week.
