      A two day technology showcase kicked off at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Tuesday.

      There were around fifteen vendors at the technology showcase.

      A two day technology showcase kicked off at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Tuesday.

      The showcase which is funded by the Office of the Secretary of Defense is an exclusive opportunity for interested Marine Corps Logistics Command and Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany managers, engineers and artisans to view emerging technologies that are in use at other department of defense and production facilities.

      "What we're doing here is trying to look to get ideas from our industry partners on how we can better support our war fighters," said Maintenance Center Albany Commander Col. Terry Reid.

      The showcase is presented by the Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities Program.
