The Huffington Post reports a new study at Loma Linda University proves that a little laughter can go a long way.
The study looked at 20 healthy adults and measured their stress levels and short term memory. One group was asked to sit silently while the other watched funny videos.
After 20 minutes the group that watched funny videos performed better when it came to memory recall.
FOX 31 asked people here in Albany what they think and they agreed, laughter is the best medicine.
One woman said it just gives you a positive outlook on life and makes you feel better. Another person said he tries to make people laugh and tell jokes because he can see that it makes people feel better.
