An investigation by the Wilcox County Sheriff's Office has led to two people being arrested on drug charges.
Donnie Rountree, 43, and 37-year-old LaWanda McNulty were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Wilcox County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Cardinal Rd. where the two lived in Pitts.
Officers say they discovered an estimated 26.4 grams of methamphetamine and tools for the sale and distribution of controlled substances and other drug paraphernalia.
Most of the meth found was already packaged and ready to be distributed.
Officers also detained three other people in connection with the case but they were later released.
Rountree and McNulty are currently being held in the Wilcox County Jail.
