$1500 in shades and clothing stolen from local merchants

Albany police say that Thomas has been arrested and charged with felony shoplifting after receiving a tip.

Albany Police say they have a person of interest in this case. Officials want to question Adonis Demond Thomas in reference to two shoplifting cases. If you have any information on his location, you're asked to contact APD or you can report an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS (8477).


Albany police need your help finding identifying a man and woman wanted as suspects after $1,500 worth of sunglasses and clothes were stolen from two Albany businesses Monday.

Officials say that 12 pair of sunglasses worth about $1,500 was stolen from Lens Crafters in the Albany Mall around 2 p.m. while clothing from Citi-Trends on South Slappey was taken about two hours later.
