Worth County borrow funds for future
Worth County commissioners are still considering putting out bills to insurance companies for fire calls.
In Tuesday's meeting, the commission decided to have the city attorney look further into how they can recoup funds.
Board members approved a TAN resolution.
"We're borrowing a tan anticipated note in the amount of $1.5 million to help us bridge the gap between expenses now and when our taxes will be coming in," said Mike Cosby, Worth County Commission Chair.
The TAN will be used for general county expenses.
