Coming up on March 6th, Georgia voters will go to the polls for Super Tuesday. It's a day when the greatest number of states will hold primary elections and the largest number of nominating delegates can be won.
A candidate must do well on this day in order to have a chance at winning their party's nomination for president, .

Although lately Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich have been in the spotlight for the republican race more than others, there are still nine candidates on the ballot.
The only candidate who has officially withdrawn from the election is businessman Herman Cain.
"The Republican party has to send an official to the secretary of state stating that these candidates are no longer running for office. You have to receive notification from the party. So the republican would notify the secretary of state and we have not received notification as of this day," says Dougherty County Elections Supervisor Ginger Nickerson.
President Barack Obama is the only candidate on the Democratic ballot.
