November will be here before you know it and it'll be time to cast your vote in the Fall General Election.
September is National Voter Registration Month, and before you can vote, you must be registered by October 7th.
Ginger Nickerson, Elections Supervisor with the Albany/Dougherty Voter Registration Office says in order to fill out the paperwork to register you must also have one of six forms of identification like a birth certificate or a license.
"You want to make sure all of your information is correct and you are definitely in the system and you will be able to cast your ballot that day," says Nickerson.
She adds that Albany has two wards with opposition in the General Election.
Those wards are Wards two and three.
