Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle says Georgia faces some economic challenges but that we also have some great opportunities ahead of us.
Moving forward Cagle says he wants to leverage every opportunity to make Georgia's workforce stronger including cutting taxes for certain businesses. "We're a low tax state, we're a low energy cost state, and we're a "right to work" state. All of those are great benefits that really distinguish us from our competitors across the nation" says Cagle.
One bill he wants to see pass is the "Angel Tax Credit" bill which aims to help emerging and small businesses.
Lieutenant Governor Cagle says he anticipates seeing moderate job growth in 2010.
