Early voting for the July run-off started Monday.

By noon, Elections Supervisor Ginger Nickerson said it's been steady with about 40 people already turning up to vote.

Nickerson adds that "it's always good to exercise your right to cast that ballot for those individuals that you chose to best represent you and the only way you can do that is by casting that ballot because every vote does county and it does make a difference."

The Elections Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and if you can't make it to the poll, don't forget to fill out an absentee ballot.
