Early voting in Tifton came to an end Friday. Election officials say 253 people took time to cast their ballot this week.

People voted on whether or not the city should allow retailers, restaurants and bars to sell alcohol on Sunday.

Another issue focuses on increasing the homestead tax exemption for residents over the age of 65.

There will be no voting on Monday.

Voters will be able to cast their ballot from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the precinct located at 222 Chestnut Avenue. Voting will be held in the gym.
