Albany businessman Lane Rosen is throwing his name in the hat for the Ward 5 city commission seat.
Lane Rosen is the current owner of several businesses including the state theater in downtown Albany.
The entrepreneur says he wants to keep business in the city.
He says jobs and people continue to leave the area and it's his goal to keep businesses right here in 'The Good Life City.'
Rosen has come up with a campaign platform inclusive to all residents. He's running on the platform of "ALLbeny First", meaning the needs of all residents comes first.
"ALLbeny first. I spell Albany with two L's and although it's the ward five seat that I'm after. I need to improve the whole town with as much influence as I can have," said Lane Rosen, Ward 5 Commission Candidate.
Currently the ward five commission seat is held by Bob Langstaff.
