The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual legislative appreciation luncheon Thursday.
State representatives Carol Fullerton, Ed Rynders, Winfred Dukes and Senator Freddie Powell Sims were all in attendance.
Chamber officials say it's also important to recognize their efforts.
We send them to Atlanta to represent us. We let them know in advance the kinds of things that we're interested in, the things that we're watching. And it's just very important to let them know that we have watched it and we appreciate what they have done, said Jay Smith, Director of the Legislative Affairs Committee
The legislators also took the floor for part of the luncheon. They say it's important for them to give an update of what they're doing in Atlanta.
