In Monday TMs work session meeting, Ben Hill County commissioners debated on how to use $319,000 in tax dollars.
The money is leftover from the 2005 SPLOST.
Board members outlined their top priority projects during the meeting.
They also went over plans to set up a public transportation system.
There are a lot of different people who don't drive or don't have vehicles and they have a hard time getting around. We understand that and we've tried to figure out how to do it, said Frank Field, Ben Hill County Administrator.
Feild says the project would have to be contracted out and approved by the Department of Transportation.
The conversation will continue in Tuesday's county meeting.
