Ken Hodges was back in Albany Thursday to open his new campaign headquarters.
The Former Dougherty county district attorney is now running for Georgia state attorney and says he knows exactly why he wants the job. "For the same reason I ran for Albany district attorney in 1996. I wanted to make my community a better place to live and I want this state, my home state, to be a better place" says Hodges.
Hodges is up against fellow democrat Rob Teilhet, as well as Republicans Sam Olens and Max Wood.
