Phoebe Orthopaedic Specialty Clinic welcomed Jeronimo Boche, assistant athletic trainer for the National College Football Champion team; Florida State Seminoles. Boche was one of the guest speakers for the February Coaches Symposium over the weekend.

Boche joined the FSU Sports Medicine staff back in July 2007 and began working with the football program in 2011. He gave a presentation educating everyone on different injuries for both football and non-football related sport injuries.

The February Coaches Symposium is the first half of a two part event that earns PLU credit for grade school coaches. Needless to say, coaches from all over Southwest Georgia were in attendance. Topics covered included concussions, taping, shoulder injuries, and many other athletic injuries.

The event was free and open to all area coaches for both at the high school and middle school level.
