Latino Youth Conference to be held in Atlanta
More than 1,200 students are registered to attend the 10th Annual Latino Youth Conference hosted by the Latin American Association in Atlanta.
The Saturday conference will include workshops focused on educational opportunities, leadership development and the importance of making good decisions.
Parents and teachers will also participate. Victor M. Rios, a motivational speaker and assistant professor of sociology at the University of California at Santa Barbara, is
set to be the keynote speaker. The conference will be held at the Westminster School in Atlanta.
