Over the last 12 years the Albany State Golden Rams have hosted a golf tournament in Albany for a chance to raise money to the football program. Fans, Alumni, and even some former players returned to Albany to play in the tournament, hosted at Flint River Golf and Country Club to give back to the program.

Golden Rams head football coach Mike White says, "There is nothing better than to have you local community support your program, that is what makes it a great program."

The tournament was a 2-person scramble that had a shotgun start at 2PM. The cost was $100.00 per a team with all the proceeds going towards the Albany State football team. The day was full of different events, like the longest drive contest. Overall it was a successful day of golfing, fun, and Albany State getting closer to another conference championship.
