If you're in the market to buy a home, one worry is the potential for massive flooding.
Dianne Barlow, President of the Albany Board of Realtors, says each seller fills out what's called a property disclosure form which lists all the problems or potential problems each home has.
That form is also attached to the contract in which that potential buyer would sign.
Barlow says, "it's important to review that form because it tells a buyer everything about the home which in return helps better prepare the buyer."
Barlow adds that you can also review flood maps or flood zones on the city website if you have any questions about which areas see the most flooding.
