Florida State football had a perfect year, going undefeated for the season and earning the national championship over Auburn. With the offseason at hand and spring practice still a couple of weeks away, players get the chance to travel home and see family or friends before preparing for next season. Rashad Greene, a junior wide receiver for the Seminoles and Westover High School alumni paid a little visit to his roots here in Albany.

Greene started playing for Pop Warner Youth Football and one of his first coaches was Ivy Williams.

Williams said, "I started coaching Rashad between ages 8-13 and have been close to him ever since."

Greene understands the impact and importance it makes for a superstar to recognize where he came from and to give back to the community.

Greene said, "This means a lot to get a chance to give back to the football program that got me started and I know it means even more to these kids."

Greene spent all afternoon signing autographs, taking pictures, and meeting the young superstars of Pop Warner Football.
